The PENTA Building Group is searching for an Administrative Assistant of Safety and Quality to join our team in Las Vegas, NV!
 
The Administrative Assistant of Safety and Quality will provide administrative support and organization to the Executive Director of Safety and Quality, and the Safety and Quality Department. The main responsibilities for this role include scheduling meetings, safety/quality-related training, coordinating safety & quality events, processing expense reports, booking travel, and preparing PowerPoint presentations. 
 
 
A PENTA Admin. Assistant for Safety and Quality will also:
  • Coordinate, schedule, track and enter all Safety and Quality training.
  • Book travel for Safety and Quality team.
  • Ordering of Safety and Quality swag for various events. 
  • Plan and coordinate with Events Manager on annual Safety Kickoffs.
  • Plan and coordinate all Safety and Quality events such as monthly meetings, ACIG, etc.
  • Attend monthly Safety & Quality meetings in person or via Zoom.
  • Ordering meals and organizing catering as needed for department meetings and training.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for the department as needed.
  • Enter Safety and Quality related training attendance into Vista.
  • Track and file all OSHA 10, 30, or 500 cards in Vista and Safety files.
  • Register individuals for OSHA 10, 30, or 500 classes.
  • Track and log the monthly, quarterly, and yearly Safety and Quality Champions.
  • Administer Safety and Quality surveys to collect valuable data on training and events the department is facilitating.
  • Prepare expense reports for the Executive Director of Safety and Quality and Regional Director of Safety.
  • Assist the Executive Director of Safety and Quality in preparing and tracking the Safety and Quality budgets. 
  • Perform special assignments and duties assigned that may not be listed here to support the Safety and Quality Department.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Strong organizational and time management.
  • Proactive attitude and solutions-based approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt well to changes in assignments and priorities.
  • Experience with follow-up and monitoring of work to ensure quality standards and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and team player mindset.
  • This is a non-exempt position and does qualify for overtime pay. 
  • Periodic travel may be required.
